Candle Care

Vela Amber Noir de la colección Postcards de Herriet. Las mejores velas aromáticas

For optimum use and to prevent wax tunneling:

Burn the candle until the wax has melted and pooled to the edge. Make sure you melt the top wax layer completely to prevent the "tunnel effect".

Trim the wick between uses, ensuring it is no longer than ¼ inch/6mm.

If the candle wick is displaced during the burning, place it back to its original position once the wick is cool enough to touch and before it hardens to avoid irregular burning patterns.

Allow the candle to solidify before re-lighting.

Do not burn for longer than four hours at a time.

Do not leave unattended or within reach of children or pets.Always be present when burning the candle.

Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, making sure the candle is stable and straight. Do not place the candle near a heat source and make sure there are no flammable objects nearby.

Extinguish the flame in case of seeing more smoke than usual, there is an intense flame or you have less than 5mm of wax left to prevent direct burning against the glass and color.

Keep the candle away from direct sunlight to avoid discoloration.

Avoid touching the candle while burning to avoid burning yourself. Temperature might be too high.

Clean the candle jar after it has finished burning and only when the candle has been fully consumed. Do so by adding a small amount of boiling water to the inside of the jar. After a few hours, the leftover wax should have risen to the surface of the water and you can wipe the rest with wet wipes.
